BIRDS OF BELIZE
PRESENTED BY JIM MOON
Belize is known for its Maya Pyramids, its Barrier Reef and Great Blue Hole; however it is the avian inhabitants that truly steal the show in ithis untamed land. Belize is a haven for over 500 species of birds, making it ideal for bird watching. Visitors are treated to sightings of magnificent frigatebirds, brown pelicans, cormorants, royal terns, laughing gulls, and brown and red-footed boobies as well as hundreds of other species.

At our June meeting, Jim Moon will treat us to photos of many of these incredible birds taken on his recent visit to Belize. Don’t miss out!
