We had a field trip to the Sacramento Zoo in 2025 and saw many interesting and some unique animals. Some of the details of that trip follow.

Nearly 400 native, rare and endangered animals call the Sacramento Zoo home. 

​

A good time to arrive there before the crowds and lines is when the gates open at 9 am.    

 

Zoo Entry, if you are a Zoo member already you can get right in. For non-members, $20 for seniors. However, depending on the day the Zoo may offer discounts. Please book your access pass directly. ​
