Our Featured Speaker for the July 13th General Meeting was local Davis, CA photographer Laurie Friedman.

Laurie's presentation traced her recent journey through Ireland and Northern Ireland.  She showcased beautiful landscape photos from the many small villages and spectacular coastal areas.  She also presented some compelling city scapes taken in Belfast.  The photographs illustrated the historic tensions that still exist despite 18-years of peace since the signing of the Good Friday Treaty in 1998.

Laurie has been actively photographing for over 25 years and has been an integral member of the Greater Sacramento area photography scene.

​

She is past president of the Photo Club of Davis, and a long time member of the Sierra Camera Club where she has served as Travel Director for four years.
