If you like murals, try downtown Sacramento. There are hundreds of murals, some of which are recent. More are on the way each year.

Both the SCLH Photographic Club and the Hiking Club have done tours of the Sacramento murals.

​

There are also scheduled tours by other groups, which you can explore online.

​

A good time to explore this area is on Sundays when parking is free and available in many places, and there are not too many people around.

​

A great starting point is Jazz Alley and Lincoln Highway, and then proceeding between J and L streets to 28th Street. You'll see dozens of murals.
