Bishop is one of the larger towns on Route 395.

 

Try early morning or evening photography at Bishop ponds.

 

Erick Schat's Bakkery in the middle of town is interesting and has excellent food.

 

Not far are interesting petroglyphs drawn on the rocks long ago.
